Imprint Program 2025

OWLS Mary Leonard Chapter, Marion County Bar Association and North Salem High School are proud to announce that we are once again sponsoring the Imprint Program!
Picture
Imprint is a valuable and rewarding way for lawyers and other professionals to give back to our local youth!

Mentors are matched with a North Salem High School student at an in-person orientation meeting on February 21, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at North Salem High School. The pairs read an assigned book and exchange a series of two letters each discussing the book during the months of February through April. Everyone comes back together at the end of the program on May 9, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to celebrate with an in-person gathering at Willamette University Rick's Cafe. Imprint provides students with an opportunity to meet and interact with local lawyers and other professionals.

This year's book is Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company that Addicted America by Beth Macy. Mentors will bring a copy of the selected book to the orientation meeting.
