Oregon Department of Justice

Experienced Attorney: Civil Recovery Section

The Oregon Department of Justice, Civil Recovery Section, is seeking applicants for an attorney position in its Salem office.  This section represents state agencies in a variety of plaintiff’s civil litigation matters, including assisting agencies in seeking monetary recoveries and injunctive relief.  A minimum of five years’ civil litigation experience is required.  This must include first-chair trial experience.  Solid research and writing skills are also required.  Knowledge of bankruptcy law and debtor-creditor experience is a plus.

Oregon Law Center

Staff Attorney

The Oregon Law Center (OLC) seeks a staff attorney with up to five years of experience to conduct outreach and provide civil legal services, including impact litigation and service cases, for low-income communities in Marion, Polk, and Linn-Benton Counties, including Spanish speaking communities. An important aspect of this position is to engage in community outreach to the client community and client based organizations.
