Part I. Networking with Intentionality: Avoid the Networking Overwhelm  
When: Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Collier Law, 1020 Liberty St SE, Salem 
Who: Attorneys and judges of all experience levels are encouraged to join to provide students and newer attorneys a networking opportunity.
Pricing: Free   


OWLS-Mary Leonard Chapter and the Oregon New Lawyers Division present an evening with friends Hon. Chris Garrett (Oregon Court of Appeals), Kate Wilkinson (Oregon School Boards Assoc.), Ryan Collier (Collier Law), and Sydnie Wells (Willamette Law 3L). Share some wine and appetizers as you learn how to use networking as a job-finding and career-building tool. The speakers will share their networking tips and techniques, including how to attend networking events without feeling overwhelmed. 
Part II. Marketing Yourself
When: Thursday, February 23, 2017, refreshments served at 5:00 p.m., presentation from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Where: Saalfeld Griggs PC, Park Place, Suite 200, 250 Church Street SE, Salem
Who: Attorneys seeking tips on marketing yourself.
​Pricing: OWLS members $15; nonmembers $20; judicial law clerks and new admittees $10. Free to students and those not seeking CLE credit.


Join OWLS-Mary Leonard Chapter and the Oregon New Lawyers Division for a panel discussion with Jennifer Paul (Saalfeld Griggs PC), Paul Saucy (Saucy & Saucy PC), and Catherine Trottman (Law Offices of Jon Weiner). The panelists will discuss how to market yourself at different stages of your career and in different practice areas. 1 CLE credit will be sought.
Part III. Building a Successful Career  
When: Wednesday, March 15, 2017, refreshments served at 5:00 p.m., presentation from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Where: Sherman, Sherman, Johnnie & Hoyt, LLP, 693 Chemeketa Street NE, Salem
Who: Students, newer attorneys, and attorneys in career transition.
