OWLS MLC Leadership Recruiting Socials

If you enjoy participating in OWLS programs and want to learn how to get more involved with OWLS, join MLC President Nani Apo and several past presidents of the Mary Leonard Chapter of OWLS for an informal social on May 15.  We will discuss current leadership opportunities with the local Mary Leonard Chapter as well as opportunities to get involved with OWLS at the statewide level.  Questions welcome! 

As part of OWLS commitment to offering flexible scheduling to our members, we are offering two leadership recruiting socials to accommodate schedules.  The first will be from 12:00 to 1:00pm at the IKE Box and the second will be 5:00 to 6:00pm at Taproot.  RSVPs are not required, but are encouraged to help us plan ahead.

IKE Box

I highly recommend serving on the Mary Leonard board. I served on the Mary Leonard board during my first four (and formative) years as a lawyer.  Our board dreamt up fresh ideas for our members and our community.  I learned a lot on how to collaborate, innovate, and build consensus, all while having fun working together with some amazing lawyers and judges.  Mary Leonard is a proven leadership incubator. I attribute my leadership skills and self-confidence in substantial part to my service with the Mary Leonard board.
