Working in Wellness: An Intro to Meditation, Yoga, and Tai Chi
Wednesdays, May 4, 11, and 18 from 5:15 pm to 6:00 pm
Collier Law, 1020 Liberty St SE, Salem, OR 97302

The Mary Leonard Law Society invites you to a three-part wellness event in May. Join us after work on Wednesdays in May, when Rev. George “Kosho” Finch, JD, of the Foundation for Shingon Buddhism, will lead three introductory classes focused on wellness issues that affect legal practitioners.

May 4 – Meditation: straightforward stress relief for adversarial situations
May 11 – Seated yoga: stretches to relieve tension and the pain for desk warriors
May 18 – Tai Chi: simple movements for increasing circulation, energizing the mind and body

Register for one class or for the entire series. Cost is $7 per class or $15 for the series.

Rev. Finch leads the Foundation for Shingon Buddhism. Rev. Finch was ordained in 2006. Since then he has taught yoga, led meditation groups in Portland, Oregon, and served as assistant minister with the Koyasan Shingon Mission of Hawaii.
